Supporting global and U.S. missions and starting new churches
We are a church that supports missions. This focus will continue as we assist missionaries around the globe who are reaching out to every identified people group, especially those in highly unchurched countries. Through cooperative efforts with other mission-minded churches, we are designating a portion of the Special Offering to support 3,000+ North American Missionaries and 5,000+ International Missionaries.
These missionaries are sharing Christ, starting new churches, and serving the physical and spiritual needs of those in some of the world’s most important (and most dangerous) mission fields. With our support, and the support of other like-minded churches, we can make a difference around the world as people come to Christ. With our support and the support of other like-minded churches, we can literally make a difference around the world as new churches are established and people come to know Christ.

Reaching the people of South Florida with the love of Jesus
A recent Barna study shows that the our community in South Palm Beach County is the most “never churched” region of the country,meaning more people in South Florida have never been to church than anywhere else in the U.S. That’s why South Florida is one of our nation’s greatest mission fields.
With nearly half a million people living within 7 miles of our church, there are hundreds of thousands of people in our sphere of influence who don’t have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
The SHOWING WE CARE Special Offering will help expand our evangelism efforts (including our
Servant Evangelism efforts and other creative outreaches) so we can continue to reach our community with the love of Jesus!

Meeting the needs of the less fortunate through community ministry
We are a church that serves the “least of these.” Through the SHOWING WE CARE Special Offering we have a unique opportunity to help those in greatest need in our community, both spiritually and physically. We will continue to partner with local organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of the less fortunate.
In Palm Beach County and Broward Counties alone, 142,050 children go to bed hungry every night, and one out of four people who receive food at places like Boca Helping Hands is a child. The need in our area is great. That’s why, through the SHOWING WE CARE Special Offering, we will be able to strengthen our partnership with Boca Helping Hands, providing meals and serving the poor and needy in our area. As a church, we can make a difference in their lives through our serving and giving.

Investing in new digital spiritual growth tools for Journey Kids.
We are a church that loves to invest in children and families. We consider it an honor to help a family
to have a strong home and to raise a child to follow Jesus. To do this, we have designed a fantastic
experience for children on Sunday called Journey Kids, our ministry to children fifth grade and under.
And we are planning improvements for 2020!
Through the SHOWING WE CARE Special Offering we will be able to make necessary upgrades to our nursery, including the addition of digital tools to help our children engage the Gospel in new ways! Our goal is for Journey Kids to be the best hour of your child’s week, these upgrades will help us better invest in your family spiritually and make an impact in the lives of these children.

Providing Camp Scholarships to our Middle & High School Students
In 2019, our Student Ministry went to it’s first-ever student ministry camp. It was an incredible experience for our students, and we are making plans to return to camp again this summer. To help ensure that every student who wants to attend is able, a portion of our SHOWING WE CARE Special Offering will help provide scholarships to families in our church who need them.
Funding The Journey’s 2020 Benevolence Ministry to help those in our church facing a financial crisis or emergency.
We are a church that comes along side of those in our church who are struggling financially and
emotionally. Since 2011, our church has helped individuals and families during their time of greatest
need. The Benevolence Ministry allows us to come alongside of people in distress due to difficult
financial times, a loss of a job, or a need for counseling.
