Questions to Consider While Praying About Your Calling

What is full-time vocational ministry?
Full-Time Vocational Ministry refers to a life calling in which an individual is employed in a ministry role as their primary occupation. This includes dedicating one’s career to serving the Church or a faith-based organization through preaching, teaching, pastoral care, missions, worship leadership, discipleship, or administrative support—carrying out the work of the Gospel as a vocation rather than as a volunteer or secondary pursuit.

What is a calling?
Calling is a God-given prompting or conviction that directs an individual to a specific purpose, role, or way of life that aligns with God's mission and their unique gifts. It can be expressed through various vocations—such as ministry, work, relationships, or service—and is ultimately about faithfully responding to God’s guidance in every aspect of life.

What should be my first step?
