JOIN US FOR A DRIVE-THRU COMMUNION SERVICE

Taking Communion together is the GREATEST symbol of our relationship to each other in the Body of Christ, his church. It visibly demonstrates that we belong to each other as brothers and sisters in God’s family.

In 1 Corinthians 11:25, Jesus says this about communion:

“This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.” - 1 Corinthians 11:25

SO ... even though we still can’t meet together for weekend worship, we have set up a plan for us to share a Drive-Thru Communion Service on Thursday, October 22 between 6:00pm-7:00pm at The Journey's Ministry & Worship Center.

This Communion service will be SAFE, SIMPLE, and SHORT. We’ll use all the correct health protection (masks, gloves, etc.) and observe social distancing in serving you Communion.

Here’s how it will work:

1. Upon arrival, you will receive pre-packaged communion elements.
2. You will remain in your car, and we will use all the correct health protection (masks, gloves, etc.) and observe social distancing in serving you Communion.
3. I will lead you in communion and pray a prayer of blessing and protection over you and your family.
4. You can even share prayer requests, and I'll pray specifically for those, too.
