Meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poor in our area
We are a church that serves the "least of these." Over the last year our church has been able to step up and meet needs in unprecedented ways – providing thousands of meals, blood donations, daily necessities, and shoes to children and families in need. 2024 has been one of the greatest seasons of community impact in the history of our church.
And we want to move forward for greater impact in 2025!
Through the Forward in Faith Special Offering and our partnership with Boca Helping Hands, we have an opportunity to provide meals, serve the poor, and help those in greatest need in South Florida (both spiritually and physically). And through our partnership with Place of Hope we can minister to the needs of foster families and victims of human trafficking here in South Florida.
And we want to move forward for greater impact in 2025!

Reaching the people of South Florida in creative ways with the life-changing love of Jesus
There has never been a greater need in our community for revival and for people to experience the life-changing love of Jesus! 83% of the nearly 750,000 people living within 10 miles of our church do not have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. That’s why South Florida is our greatest mission field.
The Forward in Faith Special Offering will help expand our evangelism efforts in creative ways in 2025 so we can reach our community with the love of Jesus during a time of great need.

Forward in Faith for Our CHURCH
Funding The Journey’s 2025 Benevolence Ministry to help those in our church facing a financial crisis or emergency.
Since 2011, the Benevolence Ministry has allowed us to walk beside people in distress due to difficult financial times, a loss of a job/apartment, or a death in the family and meet a one-time need. And there has never been a greater time of need in our church with so many struggling financially, emotionally and physically.
Because of your generous giving to the special offering, so far in 2024 – even with increased needs – we have been able to approve all valid benevolence requests. We look forward to meeting these needs again in 2025.
In 2025 we might face new challenges… but we will also be given many new chances to show the love of Jesus like never before. We want to be prepared to respond to any new ministry opportunities that God presents us in the coming year. Your giving to the Forward in Faith Special Offering helps us to do just that!

Investing in the spiritual growth of our children, teens and families.
We’re a church that loves children, teens and families. And over the last year, it’s been exciting to see so many new families getting plugged into both our Journey Kids and Student ministries. That’s why we’re investing in the growth and security of the next generation in new ways in 2025!
Through the Forward in Faith Special Offering, we will invest in upgraded technology and security to ensure a safe and fun environment for our children to learn about Jesus. We will also replace worn out toys and provide new Bible-learning tools throughout all of our Journey Kids classrooms and the Student Ministry Center.

Installing Bible Banners in our parking lot to create a worshipful atmosphere and encourage Bible literacy.
Our goal as a church is to help every person who steps foot on our campus to feel warmly welcomed and to point you to God’s love and truth revealed in scripture.
To that end, we plan to install Bible Banners on the light poles in our parking lot to create a worshipful atmosphere as soon as people arrive, and to encourage Bible engagement and literacy.

Funding the Building for Life Initiative for the future of our church.
A portion of the Forward in Faith Special Offering will be designated to the Building for Life Initiative to secure our future by paying down our debt, invest in our facilities through ongoing and necessary upgrades and repairs, and reach our community with the Good News about Jesus.
Building for Life is responsible for many of the beautiful features that we enjoy about our church, from the lighted sign on our building, to our new baptistry, and more. We have accomplished much in the short time our church has called this property home. But there is still much to do.
