You are invited to join your Journey Family on Wednesday, December 8 at 7:00pm for an Online Christmas Communion service.   This will be a meaningful time of communion where we can join together as a church (and with members of The Journey Church NYC) via Zoom to reflect on why Jesus birth, death and resurrection.

This simple and short communion service will help you reflect on God's love for you - and you can utilize juice and bread that you already have at home.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

  •  It is a simple act.
“The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread…” (vs. 23)

  •  It is a reminder.
“…and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; eat it in remembrance of me.’” (vs. 24)

  •  It is a symbol.
“In the same way, He took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; drink it to remember me.’” (vs. 25)

  •  It is a statement of faith.
“For whenever you eat the bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes back.” (vs. 26)

Here's how it works:
  1. Complete the form below to receive the Zoom link to join the Communion.
  2. Gather the elements for your communion.  You can simply utilize juice and bread that you already have at home (even a cracker and water will be fine -- communion is more about your heart before God than having exactly the right juice/bread) - just make sure you are prepared.
  3. 5-10 minutes before Communion service begins, click the Zoom link to log-in and celebrate communion with others from The Journey.
  4. During the Communion, we will lead you in a short devotion, scripture reading, a time of prayer, and then we'll receive the Lord's Supper together.
