Wednesday, February 10

You are invited to join your Journey Family on Wednesday, February 10 at 7:00pm for an Online Communion Service.  This will be a meaningful time of communion where we can join together as a church online via Zoom and remember Jesus' sacrifice to save us and give us eternal life!

This special service will help you reflect on God's love for you while being  SAFE, SIMPLE, and SHORT - and you can utilize juice/bread that you already have at home.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

  •  It is a simple act.
“The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread…” (vs. 23)

  •  It is a reminder.
“…and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; eat it in remembrance of me.’” (vs. 24)

  •  It is a symbol.
“In the same way, He took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; drink it to remember me.’” (vs. 25)

It is a statement of faith.
“For whenever you eat the bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes back.” (vs. 26)

Here's how it works:
Gather the elements for your communion.  You can simply utilize juice/bread that you already have at home (even a cracker and water will be fine -- communion is more about your heart before God than having exactly the right juice/bread) - just make sure you are prepared.

Join us online using the link, to join fellow members of the Journey. Passcode: Journey
