The Welcome Team exists to create a welcoming experience for those who are entering our campus on a Sunday morning. By providing a warm smile and creating a positive interaction, our team cultivates an amazing environment for the people of South Florida to become fully-developing followers of Jesus.

Greeter or Parking Lot Greeter

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome guests and regular attenders as they arrive
  • Offer a friendly smile and warm conversation
  • Help create a positive first impression of The Journey

Good to Know
  • No special skills required
  • You'll help people feel valued, and cared for

Program Distributor / Usher

What You’ll Do
  • Hand out programs and important information
  • Welcome guests as they enter the service
  • Assist guests in finding seats
  • Distribute and collect offering buckets for Tithes & Offering 

Good to Know
  • Great role for someone who likes meeting lots of people
  • You'll help guests feel informed and comfortable
  • You'll help people feel comfortable and cared for
  • This position allows you to serve while still participating in the service

Resource Table

What You’ll Do
  • Answer questions about church ministries and opportunities
  • Help people find resources and information.

Good to Know
  • Great opportunity to help people get connected
  • You'll become familiar with many areas of church life

Your Commitment:


✓ Serve at one to two service(s) each month between August 1st and January 31st. 
✓ Arrive one hour before your assigned service time to prepare and welcome guests.
✓ Commit to creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable environment.
