2025 was an incredible year at The Journey as we witnessed God working in amazing ways in and through our church family. Thank you for your faithful prayers, giving and service to help make it all possible.

Our Ministry is Growing!
In 2025, our church welcomed hundreds of first-time guests and grew through our in-person services! And we continued to reach new people through our online services, too! We also welcomed 38 new members to our church family.
A Banner Year for Baptisms
In 2025 we celebrated a record year of baptisms with 58 people baptized!
Because of your generosity in helping us build our new Baptistry and patio, we were able to baptize people at the service all year long.
This summer we celebrated our largest day of baptisms in 2025 with 19 people baptized at the beach. And we wrapped up this record year with our Christmas Baptism in December.

Launching the Next Generation Project and Completing our First Construction Phase
2025 was a year of big dreams and generosity as we launched the Building for Life: Next Generation Project to help prepare our campus and Ministry Center to reach and disciple the next generation.
We met our First Milestone Goal and completed the first two construction projects. Now, we're focused on reaching Milestone #2 by January 31 to make improvements on our patio which will make baptisms, weddings, events and services more comfortable and accessible.

In 2025, we launched our partnership with PhilanthroCorp – a Christian-based company specializing in helping individuals and families with wills and estate planning. At our Biblical Legacy Planning Overview & Dessert, many of our members committed to developing a will and estate plan as a way to leave a lasting legacy that honors God. Through our partnership with Philanthrocorp, each person was paired with a trusted planning professional, helping make what can feel like a complex process simple, clear, and supportive!
Reaching out to Share the Hope of Jesus
In 2025, we stepped up our evangelism efforts... reaching out to our community to share the Good News of Jesus and inviting people to church at the Beach Reach, Christmas Parade, Burger Bash, Green Market, and more!
Meeting the Needs of the Less Fortunate
Through our partnerships with Boca Helping Hands and Place of Hope we provided thousands of meals, school supplies and more to foster children, single moms and families in need in our community.
And we already have our first projects with both organizations lined up for the first quarter of 2026.

Fun Events Provide Opportunities for Making Friends
2025 was the Year of Shalom at The Journey. And we not only learned to walk in God's peace -- but to experience a lot of joy, too! From Difference Maker seminars to WingFest, Beach Parties and Illusionist Don Townsend, 2025 was a year of faith-building, fun, and new friendships!
"Character Counts" Fall Campaign
This fall during our Sunday services & in our Growth Groups, took major steps in developing Godly character through our Character Counts series.
PLUS: a record 200 people were a part of our “Character Counts” Growth Groups this Fall and grew in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We’re going to be a stronger church because of it!

Growing in Journey Kids and Student Ministry
In 2025, we welcomed new families and children, and our amazing Journey Kids team did a fantastic job each week teaching our children about who Jesus is and God's love for them.
PLUS: Student Ministry DOUBLED in 2025. We took our largest group of Middle and High Schoolers ever to Super Summer Camp in July... and we'll be going back again this summer.

Worship Arts Team in Action
The Journey’s Worship Arts Team has done an incredible job leading us in worship both In-Person and Online each week. And we welcomed our new Director of Worship Arts, Scott Liedtke to the staff team. A big thank you to our entire team: worship leaders, vocal team and band, audio engineers, video and lighting team, camera team, and more!
Walk Thru the Bible
In August over 50 people took part in our Walk Thru the Bible - New Testament LIVE seminar! Together, we learned how to dig into the full story of the Old Testament from beginning to end in fun & engaging ways.
Growing Spiritually Together
Over 65 people took one of our spiritual development classes (101, 201, 301, 401) in 2025, helping them to commit to church membership, develop spiritual disciplines, grow as spiritual leaders, and become mission-minded followers of Jesus.
